Capone-N-Noreaga is an American hip hop duo formed in 1995 from Queens, New York. The duo features East Coast rappers Capone and N.O.R.E.

Capone and N.O.R.E. carved out their own lane in mid-90s Queens street rap with *The War Report*, an album that prioritized gritty production and unvarnished storytelling over trends. Their connection to Nas anchored them within the same QB ecosystem that defined that era's rawness, while their Latin heritage placed them alongside Big Pun as crucial figures in New York's bilingual hip-hop identity. Beyond their recorded output, N.O.R.E.'s pivot to co-founding *Drink Champs* with DJ EFN transformed him into a cultural documentarian, interviewing everyone from Lil Jon to Gucci Mane and keeping that early-2000s East Coast perspective alive in contemporary discourse. Few duos managed both street credibility and longevity quite like CNN did.
