Inspectah Deck

Jason S. Hunter, better known by his stage name Inspectah Deck, is an American rapper and hip hop producer.

Despite ranking among Wu-Tang Clan's most criminally overlooked members, Inspectah Deck's needle-threading flow and technical precision defined some of the 36 Chambers era's sharpest verses—his opening salvo on "Triumph" remains untouchable. His solo career, anchored by *Uncontrolled Substance* (1999) and bolstered by consistent output across *The Movement*, *The Resident Patient*, and *Chamber No. 9*, showcased a lyricist obsessed with wordplay and internal rhyme schemes when others chased trends.
