Flatbush Zombies

Flatbush Zombies are an American hip hop group from the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York City, formed in 2010. The group is composed of rappers Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick Arc Elliott, with Elliott also serving as their regular record producer.

Brooklyn's Flatbush Zombies emerged from the same underground circuit that birthed Pro Era and Odd Future, three voices—Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick Arc Elliott—locked in a sonic vision that married horrorcore's nightmarish textures with psychedelic production. Their 2012 mixtape *Betteridge* and 2014 album *3001: A Laced Odyssey* established them as architects of a darker strain of New York rap, one that drew kinship with Joey Bada$$'s retro-futurism and Earl Sweatshirt's abstract gloom while charting their own lysergic path.
