Cappadonna

Darryl Hill, better known by his stage name Cappadonna, is an American rapper. He is a member of the hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan and is a member of the hip-hop group Theodore Unit together with Ghostface Killah.

Cappadonna's late entry into Wu-Tang's orbit—joining after the collective's initial explosion—forced him to prove himself on every appearance, most memorably on "Triumph" where his rapid-fire verse cut through the chaos with surgical precision. Operating primarily through Theodore Unit with Ghostface Killah, he carved out a lane that valued consistency over innovation, releasing a steady stream of albums from *The Pillage* onward that kept him relevant through the 2000s and beyond. His connection to Staten Island's most famous export meant constant comparison, but Cappadonna never seemed bothered by that shadow, instead using it as motivation to maintain his presence on the roster. Where some Wu-Tang affiliates faded after their moment, he understood the value of showing up—mixtapes, features, albums—keeping himself in the conversation even as the collective fragmented.
