Zaytoven

Xavier Lamar Dotson, known professionally as Zaytoven, is an American record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He has released collaborative projects with artists including Gucci Mane, Usher, Future, Young Dolph, Migos, Lecrae, Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, Young Scooter, B.o.B, Boosie Badazz, Waka Flocka Flame, 21 Savage, Deitrick Haddon and La Fève.

Zaytoven built his Atlanta empire on a deceptively simple formula: gospel-soaked keys layered over trap snares, a sonic signature so distinctive that hearing a church organ in a club track became instantly synonymous with his name. His decade-long partnership with Gucci Mane—helming production across the Trap House series—established him as the South's go-to architect for icy, melodic trap, a role he'd cement through prolific collaborations with Future and Young Thug that defined 2010s Atlanta rap. Where others chased trends, Zaytoven doubled down on his gospel-influenced palette, making spirituality and trap's grimiest impulses collide on records that became regional blueprints; his fingerprints are all over Future's *Evol* and Young Thug's most atmospheric moments, proof that restraint and repetition can outclass flashiness in production.
