Mike WiLL Made-It

Michael Len Williams II, known professionally as Mike Will Made It or simply Mike Will, is an American record producer, rapper and singer. He is best known for producing trap beats for several Southern hip-hop and pop artists on commercially successful singles.

Mike WiLL Made-It's trap production didn't just define a sound—it became the blueprint for Atlanta's commercial takeover in the 2010s. Building the Ear Drummers empire with Rae Sremmurd while simultaneously producing Kendrick's "Backseat Freestyle" and co-helming *m.A.A.d city* with Sounwave, WiLL occupied the rare position of being essential to both underground credibility and mainstream dominance. His relentless collaboration with Future in the ATL established a creative partnership that influenced how trap could marry minimalism with maximalist ambition. From Beyoncé to Miley Cyrus, WiLL's versatility revealed that trap's skeleton could support anything—a flexibility that made him one of the decade's most consequential producers despite operating slightly outside hip-hop's mythologized core.
