Gazzy Garcia burst onto SoundCloud in 2017 as the voice of SoundCloud rap's most chaotic era, turning "Gucci Gang" into an inescapable earworm that traditionalists despised and Gen Z embraced without apology. His beef with J. Cole over the elder's subliminal disses on "Everybody Dies" and "False Prophets" became a generational flashpoint—Lil Pump and Smokepurpp firing back with "F*** J. Cole" while Cole dismissed them as mumble rap's dead end. That conflict, eventually resolved through dialogue, underscored the real tension between hip-hop's old guard and a new wave uninterested in bars-as-currency.
