Junior M.A.F.I.A.

Junior M.A.F.I.A. was an American hip hop group from Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City.

Built in the shadow of Biggie's Bad Boy empire, Junior M.A.F.I.A. functioned less as a traditional crew and more as a Notorious B.I.G. co-sign machine—a Bed-Stuy collective where Lil' Kim and Lil' Cease could develop their own voices while orbiting the greatest rapper alive. Their 1995 debut *Conspiracy* spawned "Player's Anthem" and "Get Money," tracks that proved the crew wasn't just riding Biggie's coattails but had genuine chemistry and star power of their own. Lil' Kim in particular emerged as the crew's breakout force, translating her tenure with Junior M.A.F.I.A. into a solo career that would define late-90s femininity in rap.
