Juicy J

Jordan Michael Houston III, known professionally as Juicy J, is an American rapper and record producer. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he is a founding member of the Southern hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia, established in 1991.

Juicy J's fingerprints are all over Memphis's most uncompromising sound—co-founding Three 6 Mafia with DJ Paul in 1991, he helped pioneer the horror-beat aesthetics and drug-fueled narratives that defined '90s Southern rap before anyone outside the region was paying attention. Beyond the group's cult legacy, his solo work spanning from the early mixtape era through *Stay Trippy* (2013) established him as both a prolific producer and the architect of trap's lean-soaked aesthetic, influencing an entire generation of Houston rappers. His executive production work on Travis Scott's *Owl Pharaoh* and feature on Kanye West's "Mercy" proved that underground credibility could translate into mainstream co-signs without compromise—a rare feat for an artist who never chased trends.
