Isaiah Rashad Joel McClain is an American rapper and singer. He first gained recognition following his performances on the 2012 Smoker's Club Tour alongside rappers Juicy J, Joey Badass and Smoke DZA.

Chattanooga's Isaiah Rashad built his reputation on patience and restraint, dropping only four albums across a twelve-year span while his TDE labelmate Kendrick Lamar dominated headlines. *Cilvia Demo* announced his arrival in 2014 with a lounging, soulful approach to rap that felt like the opposite of urgency, but *The Sun's Tirade* two years later proved it was no accident—just a rapper comfortable in his own pocket. His sparse but crucial collaborations with Kendrick, including features on each other's albums, cemented Rashad's place within TDE's constellation without needing the volume or velocity that defines most of his peers.
