Herbert Randall Wright III, better known by his stage name G Herbo, is an American rapper. He signed with the Chicago-based record label Machine Entertainment Group in 2011, at the age of 16.
G Herbo emerged from Chicago's South Side as a drill rapper who understood that survival required both aggression and vulnerability—a balance he perfected across *Humble Beast* and the introspective *PTSD*, albums that proved drill could contain genuine emotional depth. His partnership with Lil Bibby on the *Free Crack* series established him as more than a regional curiosity, cementing Chicago's second wave of drill talent beyond Chief Keef's shadow. From his early mixtape *Road To Fazoland* through *25* and *Survivor's Remorse*, G Herbo built a catalog that treated trauma and street life with the seriousness they deserve, never sacrificing authenticity for mainstream palatability.
